Chris Dawson began working at the dawn of the Internet age at Claris, a subsidiary of Apple. He then worked for RealNetworks and then went to Virage a pioneering video analysis company.

SnapTortoise was brought in as a subcontractor to finish up work for his client ForeMost PI websites. The site needed to get integrated with PayPal and the CRIS API to perform criminal background checks.
