Web Design and Development
There's a lot more that goes into a website than choosing a few colors and dropping in your logo. In our experience, it's best to design from the inside out. Organize your content, develop an intuitive and helpful navigation scheme and flesh it out from there. If you haven't already, read Things you can do for your site.
Content is key
It seems it should go without saying, but you can't build a quality site if you don't have quality content. Our approach to web design puts your content front and center, so it's a good idea to make sure it's written as well as it can be.
Build with purpose
Your website needs a goal - even a simple one will do. Chances are, the main objective of your site should be to do one of three things:
- Inform users about your organization
- Get them to buy something
- Get them to contact you
We'll help you get your content organized in a way to hone in on one of these things while embracing all of them.
Who will be using this site?
What may me obvious to you isn't always obvious to your users. It's helpful to take time to figure out who will be visiting your site, the things they'll want to do when they get there and how this all plays into the purpose of your site.
How will you update it?
We can do ongoing maintenance and updates for you or we can design with a content mangement system in mind from the get-go.
